New york rapper SastreNyc just released his new ep ‘4 my Opp$‘. Complete with hard-hitting trap beats, SastreNyc uses production to paint a picture of his life of luxury. The only feature on this project comes from his cousin Nepsii on “BESTIE” and their chemistry is undeniable. The life SastreNyc portrays on this album is all he knows; he even says he’s been “dodging the cops since 8th grade,” on the early standout “Redzone“.
“‘4 My Opp$’ is a seven track EP made to show my evolution – it’s a testament of success to all the doubters” – Sastrenyc on the inspiration for this EP.
He might not have to deal with his opps for much longer, since they’ll likely turn into fans. On the title track, “4 my opps“, SastreNyc flexes his success while realizing that people probably think he’s different. However, he proclaims “the music hasn’t changed me”. His inspiration is clear on this project but less stylistically and more in his energy – it’s reminiscent of the Soundcloud era-moshpit energy, but his vocal performances really set him apart from the rest of the pack on this EP. SastreNyc’s goal is to build a dedicated fanbase, so go check out his music below:
