Yeat drops off “Still Countin” with a Lyrical Lemonade visual

One of Hip-Hop’s most beloved rising stars teamed up with one of Hip-Hops most in-demand music video directors. Portland native, Yeat and Lyrical Lemonade founder and CEO, Cole Bennett combined for an iPhone-shot music video for Yeat’s latest release titled “Still Countin.”

“Still Countin” dropped just ahead of Yeat’s upcoming album 2 Alivë. The track definitely builds up the anticipation for the album, as it is rumored to drop sometime this month (Feb). The song sits at just under three minutes long and displays Yeat’s one-of-a-kind sound, as he effortlessly flows over a heavy new-wave, rage-influenced instrumental.

The visuals for the track are fun and full of personality – pairing nearly perfectly with the energy and tone of the track. In the video Yeat is seen chilling in an Airbnb, flexing his whip, and flaunting his cheddar. In the final 50 seconds of the video, Yeat teases a small portion of an unreleased track titled “Poppin.” Cole Bennett also concluded the video with some fun facts from the shoot, such as 80% of the effects in the video were done with free iPhone apps.

As fans patiently wait for the arrival of 2 Alivë, check out the music video for “Still Countin” below!
